Overview

TelASK was founded in 2004 on the belief that communications between humans and computers would become widely accepted, and that this technology would have major implications for healthcare.  Our first contract was to develop an interactive voice response (IVR) system for following-up with cardiac surgery patients post discharge. That opportunity offered a glimpse of just how powerful an innovation this was, and the potential it held for actively engaging patients in their own health outcomes.  Today the TelASK IVR surgical follow-up program continues to serve patients in numerous cardiac centers and is just one of a growing list of medical solutions.

Early on TelASK became interested in tobacco and health and how technology might be brought to bear on the battle against nicotine addiction. This focus led to collaborations with many of the world’s foremost tobacco experts and medical research organizations. The result, TelASK Quit-Connection, is the leading evidence based, patient centric software management tool for tobacco reduction programs in the healthcare setting.

Millions of Calls

TelASK has used its proprietary algorithms and best of breed speech technologies in millions of calls to patients, to collect valuable information, to provide reinforcing messages and, when necessary, link them to third party resource persons for additional support.

People

Peter Fallis and Johnson Tran co-founded TelASK in 2004 and were joined a short while later by Vincent Talbot.  Together as CEO, Chief Technology Officer and VP of Operations respectively, they continue to lead a growing team of talented and imaginative people.
